'Chiaro/Oscuro' by Sougwen Chung
Chiaro/Oscuro, the first solo exhibition by multi-disciplinary artist Sougwen Chung is now open at Public Functionary in Minneapolis. The exhibition weaves a tapestry of Chung’s explorations in drawing, mixed-media, motion and installation work. Included in the exhibition are several works available through Ghostly International Editions, along with new compositions reproduced on silk canvas (see bottom).
Chiaro/Oscuro is only the second exhibition at Public Functionary, a non-profit exhibition and social space that aims to present thematic exhibitions which respond to and incorporate current developments in technology, communication, and culture. Based on what we’ve seen so far, they’re off to a great start.
The exhibition will be open through September 27th, 2013.
